The Wóphila Thánka – A Great Thank You to Our Community campaign is our way of honoring the donors, ranchers, and supporters who make our mission possible. Tanka Fund ranchers, our team, and supporters share their gratitude through video stories along with everyone saying ‘thank you’ in their own language. This experience brings together our appreciation and the strength of this beautiful community. Even in uncertain times, gratitude reminds us that we are strongest when we lift each other up. By standing with us, you help advance our mission to return Buffalo to Native American lands, lives, and economies.

Wóphila Thánka is how we say a “great thank you” in our Lakota language. We have a community that stretches across the nation and beyond who all speak a variety of languages and we want to hear from you! Record yourself saying “thank you” in your dialect and submit your video to marketing@tankafund.org for a chance to be featured on our website and social media.
